A fully integrated electrical appliance testing and management service, tailored to suit you.  This means that in addition to inspecting and testing your electrical appliances, you will be provided with all of the recommended practices as required in the relevant legislation:-

  1. We listen to your needs and will work with you to ensure that we deliver exactly what you and your business need.
  2. A management system will be created for your business that complies with the requirements of the regulations concerned with using electricity at work.
  3. Training needs within your business are identified and appropriate training is delivered by us, in a format that causes minimal disruption to your business.
  4. Risk assessments are made on relevant equipment to ensure that your inspection and testing frequencies are based on specific circumstances within your business, not just an arbitrary annual program.
  5. Detailed records are kept and maintained to demonstrate your compliance and ensure that your systems are kept fully up to date.
  6. Disruption to your business is kept to a minimum.  This includes the inspection and testing ‘out of normal hours’ working (if required) at no extra cost.

Do you need our service?:  

Any business that uses electrical equipment within its operations, from industrial machinery powered by high voltages, down to the smallest piece of electrical equipment such as a hairdryer, computer or a telephone, is required to comply with relevant legislation to protect its employees and third parties.  You should therefore have a program in place to provide regular checks, employee training, and risk assessments of your equipment in use.

Where are you located?: 

We are based in North Shropshire and ideally located to serve Shropshire, The West Midlands, Staffordshire and the Potteries.  We are also prepared to travel outside this area (moderate travelling expenses may be incurred).

Competitive pricing to help control your costs: 

The fully inclusive service outlined above costs from £1.27 per item, subject to a minimum charge of £40 (less than many contractors that inspect and test only).  We provide all consumables eg, labels, hard copy certificates/reports, electronic certificates/reports and training material.  NB All fee’s are subject to VAT at the relevant rate.
